In 10 seconds

Before you start

Steps

1 — Open Settings, then Account

The language shortcut in your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar also lands here.

2 — Change your email, if you need to

Type the new address twice and press Send confirmation link. A link goes to the new address. Keep signing in with the old one until you click it.

3 — Change your password, if you need to

Current password, new password, new password again, then Update password. Minimum six characters.

4 — Change the language only deliberately

Pick a language chip and a warning appears with a confirm button. Read it before pressing.

What you'll see

The header — "Account"

"Manage your account email. Changing it sends a confirmation link to the new address — the change takes effect once you click it."

"Current email"

One row showing the address you sign in with today.

The email form — "New email" and "Confirm new email"

Two fields and Send confirmation link. Once sent, the form is replaced by "Confirmation sent." and the address it went to.

"Password"

"Change the password you use to sign in. You'll need your current password to confirm." Three fields — Current password, New password, Confirm new password — with "Min 6 characters" under the middle one. On success the form is replaced by "Password updated."

"Language"

"The language EOMA operates in — its interface and the AI content generated for you." A row of chips, one per supported language, with the current one filled in. Selecting a different one shows a warning panel headed "Switching language is a heavy change", with Yes, switch to … and Keep current language.

"Two-factor authentication"

"Add a second step at sign-in using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password)." Shows On or Off. Pressing Enable 2FA shows a QR code to scan and asks for the six-digit code from your app. After that it shows a set of recovery codes once — each works a single time and lets you in if you lose your phone. Once on, the block offers Regenerate recovery codes and Disable 2FA.

Reading the numbers

Three numbers appear on this screen, and each one is a rule rather than a measurement.

"Min 6 characters." The shortest password EOMA will accept. It is a floor, not a recommendation — six characters is guessable by a machine in moments. If this account can start work that publishes to your live website, treat it like the login to that website and use a long passphrase or a password manager.

The six-digit code. The number your authenticator app shows, which changes every thirty seconds. It is proof you have your phone, not a second password. EOMA never sends it to you; if something asks you for it by email or message, that is not us.

"8 recovery codes remaining." How many one-time codes you have left to sign in with if your phone is lost or replaced. Each sign-in that uses one spends it permanently. At zero, and with no phone, nobody can let you back in from this screen — so store them somewhere that is not the phone they replace, and regenerate the set when the count gets low. Regenerating cancels every old code immediately.

When it goes wrong

You see Why What to do
"The two email addresses don't match." The two fields differ. Retype the second one. Copy-paste is safer than typing twice.
"That's already your current email." The new address is the one you already use. Nothing to change.
"Too many requests. Please wait a minute before trying again." Several confirmation emails were requested in quick succession. Wait a minute. Check spam before asking for another.
The confirmation email never arrives It goes to the new address, not the current one. Check that inbox and its spam folder. Your old address keeps working until you click the link, so nothing is locked.
"Your current password is incorrect." The current-password field is wrong. If you cannot remember it, sign out and use the password reset link on the sign-in page.
"Your new password must be different from your current one." The old and new password are identical. Choose a different one.
The language chips are greyed out No brand is selected. Pick a brand in the sidebar first — language is stored on the brand.
Your content is a mix of two languages after switching Expected for a while. EOMA re-generates AI content in the new language over the following cycles rather than all at once. Wait for the next cycles. Nothing is lost.
Enabling 2FA returns "Something went wrong. Please try again." The enrolment did not complete. Try once more, then contact support before repeating it further — a half-finished enrolment is worth checking rather than retrying blindly.
