Portfolio

Every keyword EOMA holds for your brand, what the list is worth in clicks, and the controls to add, pin or set aside keywords yourself.

In 10 seconds

Before you start

Steps

1 — Open SEO → Portfolio

│ Portfolio ← click

2 — Add a keyword you want measured

Type it into the box above the table and press Add. Anything is accepted, including terms with no reported search volume — those never come up in automatic discovery and are often the ones that convert.

3 — Pin what matters, set aside what does not

Every row has two buttons on the right. Pin forces a keyword into the weekly measurement whatever the score says. Remove means "not my market" — it hides the row and stops the keyword coming back through discovery. Nothing is deleted: the Set aside filter lists everything you removed, with a Put back button.

What you'll see

"Demand · N monitored keywords" and the big clicks figure

The top panel. One large number with clicks/mo — what this portfolio is worth beside it: the monthly clicks you would take at position 1 on every keyword being measured.

"How much of the demand you cover" and "How much of the ceiling you take"

Two meters under it. The first compares the searches you measure against all the searches in your pool. The second compares today's clicks against that ceiling.

"Is this demand the buying kind?"

A colour bar splitting your measured demand by intent, with the number of keywords the percentages rest on. It is hidden entirely when no intent is known.

"Measured on the next scan"

A dashed coral box, shown only when you have pinned something the weekly pass has not acted on yet. It sits directly under the add box, so a keyword you just requested is the first thing you see rather than something to hunt for in the table.

The five-column rail — "Keywords", "Google demand", "AI demand", "Ranking", "Top 3"

Counts for the whole pool, under the demand panel.

The filters and the table

A search box, an intent list, a status list (All, Ranking, Not ranking, Monitored, Pinned by you, Set aside), a Closest to page 1 button, and the count of rows shown. Then the table: Keyword, Google, AI, KD, Intent, You, Yours. Your pinned rows are grouped at the top under What you pinned.

Reading the numbers

The big clicks figure — for example 488. If you held position 1 on every keyword currently being measured, those searches would send you about 488 visits a month. It is a ceiling, not a forecast — but it tells you whether this list is worth a quarter of work or an afternoon.

"How much of the demand you cover" — for example %64. Of all the searches in your pool, 64% sit on keywords that are actually being measured each week. The line under it names how many pool keywords have no measurable volume at all; those can never be covered by this meter.

"How much of the ceiling you take" — for example %3. You earn about 15 of a 488-click ceiling. A low number here is not a fault in the data; it is the gap between where you rank and position 1, which is exactly the work Opportunities lists.

The intent bar — for example buy 12,400 · compare 3,100 · learn 900. Monthly searches by what the searcher wants. A portfolio that is mostly learn will grow traffic and not sales. If purchase-intent demand is exactly zero, the panel says so in words rather than leaving you to read a missing colour.

"Keywords 1,712 · 50 monitored". Your pool holds 1,712 keywords; 50 get a full Google results page fetched every week. The pool cap and the weekly cap are different limits and both come from your plan — 200 to 10,000 for the pool, 25 to 100 for the weekly set.

"Google demand 214K", "AI demand 18.2K", "Ranking %61", "Top 3 27". Pool-wide totals — monthly Google searches, monthly answer-engine demand, how much of the pool you appear on, and how much of that sits at the very top. They cover the whole pool, so they are larger than anything the meters above use.

A dash in the Google column. Volume could not be measured. About nine in ten keywords sit under every tool's reporting floor, so this is common and does not mean nobody searches for it. KD beside it is keyword difficulty, 0 to 100, lower is easier.

The You column — #14 with a short bar, or "not monitored". The bar is scaled by how much traffic that position is actually worth, so it empties past #20 on its own. not monitored means the keyword was never measured, which is different from a dash, which means it was measured and did not appear in the top 20.

"12 of 50 pinned". You have used 12 of your plan's weekly measurement slots on your own choices. When the budget is full, what you add still wins — one of the machine's picks drops out instead. Your own pins are never displaced.

Two badges on one row, "pinned" and "monitored". They are independent facts and can disagree for up to a week: pinned is your decision, taking effect immediately; monitored is what the weekly pass has acted on. Each brand's pass runs on its own cycle, so there is no fixed day to wait for.

When it goes wrong

You see Why What to do
"No keywords for your brand yet. Your portfolio is built during setup and appears here when it is ready." The keyword list has not been built for your brand. That step is run by hand at EOMA and is not triggered by signing up. Ask support to start it. Every SEO screen stays empty until then.
"No keywords match these filters." on a brand that clearly has keywords The status filter opens on Monitored, not on everything. Switch the status list to All.
"You've pinned as many keywords as your plan tracks. Un-pin one to make room." Your pins have filled the weekly budget. Un-pin one, or raise the cap by changing plan on Plan and usage.
"Your plan measures N keywords but you have pinned M. The excess will not enter the next scan." More pins than your plan's weekly budget, usually after a downgrade. We will not name which rows are excluded, because the order is not meaningful. Un-pin down to the cap so you choose what is dropped, rather than us.
"Could not add that keyword." / "Could not save that change." The write failed. Nothing was changed. Try again. If it repeats, contact support.
A keyword you added is not in the table New pins wait in Measured on the next scan above the table until the weekly pass picks them up. Nothing to do. It moves into the table by itself.
You removed a keyword and want it back Remove hides the keyword and closes the discovery door; it deletes nothing. Set the status filter to Set aside and press Put back.
