Steps

This page has no entry in the left sidebar. The reliable way in is through SEO → Share of Voice, then the link under the keyword tables.

Typing /aeo/keywords after your EOMA web address works too, and is worth a bookmark.

2 — Read the two numbers at the top

How many terms are being tracked, and how much monthly demand they carry between them. The sentence beside them tells you how many are rising and how many are falling.

3 — Open a row to see its year

Click any row. It expands into a larger chart and twelve month-by-month tiles, so you can tell a real trend from one unusual month.

What you'll see

"Keyword portfolio" and the headline

The eyebrow label, then your brand name followed by "AI search volume and 12-month trend". The information icon beside the eyebrow explains the source.

"Updated · date"

Top right, beside a green dot. The day this list was collected. Read the third row of "When it goes wrong" before treating it as recent.

"Keywords" and "Monthly AI searches"

Two figures side by side, with a sentence to their right naming how many terms are rising and falling.

"Trend Comparison"

A single chart holding the six highest-volume terms over the months EOMA has data for. The legend on the left is clickable: click a term to hide its line, hover to bring it forward. Hovering the chart shows every value for that month at once.

"AI search volume list"

The table. Four columns — Keyword, 12-month trend, Volume, Δ % — and a coloured tag on every term reading Brand, Rival or Category. Brand rows are tinted. Clicking a row opens its full year underneath.

Reading the numbers

Keywords — for example 50. Fifty terms are being tracked around your brand and your category. The page loads at most 50, so a count of exactly 50 means "50 or more", not "that is the whole market".

Monthly AI searches — for example 74,000. Those fifty terms are typed into AI engines around 74,000 times a month between them. That is the size of the conversation you are competing inside — not traffic you would receive. Compare it with your own brand rows: if your name carries 400 of the 74,000, then 99% of the demand in your category is being asked without you in mind.

A Brand tag. The term contains your brand name — someone already looking for you. Rival means it contains a competitor's name; that demand exists and is being answered by somebody, and it is not you. Category is the generic demand — "villa rental Antalya" rather than any company name. Category rows are where new customers come from; Brand rows are where existing ones are kept.

Δ % — for example +38%. The change from the second-to-last month to the last month in that term's series. Anything between −5% and +5% is shown grey and treated as flat, because month-to-month noise at that size means nothing. A "—" means the term has no measurable volume at all.

The sparkline in "12-month trend". The same twelve months drawn small. Green means the last step was up, red down. Use it to spot a term whose Δ % looks calm but whose year has collapsed — the single-month number cannot show that, and the line can.

"Top 6 keywords by volume — 12-month trend". The comparison chart shows only the six largest terms, and only those with at least two months of data. A term missing from the chart is not missing from the table — it is only absent from the top six.

When it goes wrong

You see Why What to do
"No keyword portfolio yet." The keyword collection has not run for your brand. It runs during setup. If your brand finished setup more than a day ago, contact support.
"Couldn't load data. Refresh to try again." The read failed. It does not mean you have no keywords. Refresh. If it repeats, contact support.
"Updated ·" shows a date weeks or months old This list is collected once during setup and has no recurring refresh. Every brand in EOMA today holds exactly one collection date, and the oldest is over three months back. Treat the volumes as a baseline for planning, not a weekly tracker. For a number that moves every week, use Share of Voice.
A competitor's term tagged Category, not Rival That competitor is not in your competitor list. Add them on Competitors; the tag follows the list.
No "Trend Comparison" chart Fewer than two of your terms have at least two months of history. Nothing to fix. The chart appears once the data supports it.
Δ % reads "—" on a row with volume The term's monthly series is missing or has a single month. Open the row: if the twelve tiles are empty, that term has no history yet.
