2 — Take a suggestion, or type a domain

The Suggested row lists domains already measured on your keywords, each with how many keywords it beats you on. Click one to follow it. To add a rival that has not been measured, type its address into the box and press Track — https:// and www. are stripped for you.

3 — Click a rival to open its detail

The first rival is selected for you. Clicking another row, or another bubble in the chart, switches both panels underneath.

What you'll see

"Competitive intelligence" and the big "Rivals you're watching" number

The title strip, then the count of rivals you follow with chosen by you — followed week to week under it, and a sentence naming your biggest threat. With nothing tracked yet, that sentence tells you how many rivals have already been measured and are waiting to be picked.

The add bar, "Suggested" chips, and "Watching · N"

The controls, then the roster header with a dot that reads live once the list is in sync across everyone in your workspace.

"Competitive landscape"

A bubble chart. Across: how many of your keywords they share. Up: better average rank. Bubble size: how many of your keywords they beat you on. Your own brand is the mint bubble. Clicking a bubble selects that rival.

The roster

One row per tracked rival: the domain, a High/Medium/Low badge, a bar of how many keywords they beat you on, their keyword overlap, their average rank against yours, and their page count. A ✕ appears on the row when you hover it, to stop following that rival.

"Head-to-head · domain" and "Their top pages"

Two panels under the chart, for the selected rival. The first lists the keywords you both rank on, with their position in red where they beat you. The second lists their best pages by estimated traffic; clicking one opens it.

Reading the numbers

"Rivals you're watching" — for example 0. Nobody chosen yet. This is not a statement about how much we know — Share of voice can list six measured rivals while this reads 0, because that list is measured from Google automatically and this one is curated by you. The sentence beside the zero names how many candidates are already measured.

"beats you on 118". On 118 of your keywords that domain either ranks above you or ranks where you do not appear at all. This is the number that orders the roster and sizes the bubbles — it is the honest "how much is this costing me" figure.

The High / Medium / Low badge. A fixed banding of that same count: 100 or more is High, 30 or more is Medium, below that is Low. It is a reading aid, not a separate measurement.

"79 kw · avg #6.2 vs #11.4". They appear on 79 of your keywords, averaging position 6.2 where they do, against your 11.4 across the same kind of set. A rival with fewer keywords but a much better average is a focused competitor; one with many keywords and a worse average is broad but shallow.

"pages 412". How many pages of theirs we have captured. Useful as a rough sense of site size — a 12-page rival beating you is a different problem from a 400-page one.

A bubble in the top-right corner of the chart. Wide overlap and good average rank: they compete with you nearly everywhere and win. The bottom-left corner is the opposite. A rival with no average rank at all is pinned to the chart floor rather than being dropped.

Head-to-head — villa kiralama · Them #3 · You #14 · 6,600. They hold position 3, you hold 14, and the keyword sees 6,600 searches a month. Red on their position means they beat you on that row. A dash under You means you do not appear there at all, which also counts as a loss.

"Their top pages" — /antalya-villalari · 3,120 · 47. That page is worth about 3,120 visits a month and ranks for 47 keywords. This is the most directly useful thing on the screen: open the page and read what it does that yours does not.

When it goes wrong

You see Why What to do
"Select a brand to see its competitors." No brand is active. Pick a brand from the brand switcher.
"None picked yet — this list is yours to choose. We have already measured N rivals…" Candidates exist, none tracked. This is the normal starting state. Click a Suggested chip.
"Nobody picked yet — track one above, or take a suggestion." with no suggestions No competitor page has been captured on your keywords yet, usually because your first weekly full-page scan has not run. Type a rival's address in manually, or wait for the first scan.
"That change didn't save — your rival list is unchanged." The add or remove failed and the list was rolled back. The row you saw appear or vanish did not stick. Try again, and tell support if it keeps happening.
"Could not load competitive intelligence." The read failed. Refresh; if it repeats, contact support.
"No shared keywords found." in head-to-head That domain does not rank on any keyword in your set. Common for a rival you typed in by hand rather than took from Suggested. Keep it if you know they compete with you; the panels fill as your keyword set grows.
"No page data yet — runs with the next relevant_pages collection." We have not captured that rival's pages yet. Nothing to do. It fills on the next collection.
The Share of voice rivals list and this roster disagree They are answering different questions: measured by Google versus chosen by you. Both are right. Use this screen to decide who is worth following.
