Refund & Cancellation Policy

Plain-language summary: EOMA is a subscription SaaS billed in advance for each period. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — but EOMA does not provide pro-rated or partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period. Before you pay, you can evaluate EOMA through a free trial; once a paid subscription begins and the service is made available to you, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.

1. Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds work for paid EOMA subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Use. Where this policy and the Terms of Use differ, the Terms of Use govern.

2. Free trial & evaluation

EOMA may offer free demo and/or trial access before any paid subscription so that you can evaluate the platform and decide whether to continue. If you do not wish to start a paid subscription, you must cancel before the trial period ends. When the trial period expires, the paid subscription begins and the first billing period is charged.

3. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing info@eoma.ai.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your subscription is not terminated immediately: you keep full access to the plan you paid for until that period ends, and you are not charged for the following period.
  • After the current period ends, the subscription stops and recurring billing is not renewed.

4. Refunds

  • EOMA subscriptions are billed in advance for each period. Because access is provided for the full period you paid for, EOMA does not provide pro-rated or partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period after cancellation.
  • Once a paid subscription has begun and the service has been made available to you, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund a period that has already started.

5. Statutory right of withdrawal

EOMA provides a digital service. You can evaluate the service during the demo or trial period. Once the demo or trial period ends and the paid subscription begins, the service is deemed to have started being performed, and from that point the statutory right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised. This reflects the exception under consumer-protection law for digital content/services whose performance has begun with the consumer's express consent.

6. Exceptions & chargebacks

  • Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you may have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where such a right applies, it prevails over this policy.
  • If you believe you were charged in error (for example, duplicate billing or a charge after a confirmed cancellation), contact info@eoma.ai and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.
  • Please contact us before initiating a card chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.

7. How to cancel

  1. Sign in to EOMA and open your account / billing settings.
  2. Choose to cancel your subscription. You'll see the date your access remains valid until.
  3. Alternatively, email info@eoma.ai from your account email address and we'll process the cancellation for you.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
